MacBook Speaker Issue Description You might experience an issue with your MacBook where its speakers suddenly stop working, if so–kindly follow the steps below. Instructions Boot to safe mode. Power off the laptop by holding the power button until it turns off. Press the power button once to turn it on and immediately hold down the Shift key.
