VPN for Security (Pritunl)
Description
In case you were to tasked to access certain company data, make sure to install and use Pritunl VPN.
Instructions
1. Download Pritunl (skip if using Macbook)
2. Install Pritunl on Your System
For Windows:
- Run the installer after downloading the .exe file.
- Follow the installation wizard's instructions.
- Once installed, launch Pritunl.
For macOS:
- Open Kandji self-service and locate Pritunl under All.
- Install the app and wait until it’s finished.
3. Submit a ticket to IT to have your profile URI sent via email.
4. Open the Pritunl app.
- Hit Import on the upper right corner of the app.
- Copy the Profile URI link that’s in the tab that you just opened with your user profile and paste it on the field where it’s required.
5. Add the profile to your MFA of your choice.
- Open either Okta Verify or Google Authenticator on your phone and scan the QR code that’s found in the tab with your user profile.
6.Connect to VPN.
- Once your profile has been imported, click “Open VPN” and get the passcode from your 2FA app (Okta Verify or Google Authenticator).
